JENNIFER M ROSELLE: SALON OWNER/STYLIST/HAIR EXTENSION SPECIALIST

For the past 18 years Jennifer starting her training from beauty school and then to Manhasset’s NUBEST salon for training as an assistant and then on to various Long Island salons. 

After deciding to specialize in hair extensions, Jennifer continued her education and received a certification with the Great Lengths Hair Extension Company who brought the hair extension services to the forefront of the beauty business. After that she decided to open her first Hair Design and Great Lengths Hair Extension & Wig Salon, Moviestar Hair Concepts and Moviestar Wigs which was located on Route 110 in Huntington for 3 years. 

She was also a featured stylist on HBO’s “Family Bonds” series and performed the Great Lengths Hair Extension service along with coloring and hair designing Flo Evangelista’s hair for the show and was seen on their “Last Episode” throughout that show. It was really exciting and a new experience being on HBO and got to experience a film crew being right in the salon. It was a great experience and she was proud to be a part of being on TV .

After completing her work in that location she decided to build and open a brand new state of the art full service hair design salon in Huntington Village. After growing up in Huntington it was a dream come true to have her own salon right in this great town.

Now after the new salon opened in March, 2008 she was proud to be able to bring an elegant and upscale new full service salon to the area and to be able to offer only the best and latest in hair services and skincare to this new location. There is also a private wig salon where clients can try the latest wigs and hair additions to suit all their needs.

She skillfully draws upon a wide range of current trends and timeless traditions to craft modern, fun, and easy-to-maintain looks as well as elegant, classic styles. She is not a “follower” of any trend. Rather, she always stays one step ahead, largely due to her constant immersion in the world of hair artistry. 

As a Salon Owner and resident of Huntington, Jennifer and her salon staff will continue to strive to bring only the best in hair design and new techniques to get the look our clients want and to bring the client’s vision to a reality.

Kristen then worked in Suffolk and Nassau County in high end salons for the past 5 years and worked with owners of prestigious salons and was able to benefit from those owners who were educators for major hair care companies and received extensive training from those salons. She then focused primarily on her haircutting and coloring skills and continued her training by attending numerous haircutting and hair coloring classes. In addition, Kristen developed a natural ability to correct color that was done on clients improperly and her ability to communicate clearly to the clients has helped her to excel in her chosen profession. 

Kristen is also a much sought-after stylist and specialist in the field of Thermal Reconditioning (ISTRAIGHT Japanese Straightening and in the introduction of the newest advanced straightening technique, known as Brazilian Straightening*. This system is likely to influence the world of advanced hair services for years to come, possibly even taking over the current reliance on Asian formulations. However, anything this new comes with a bit of controversy and the Brazilian process is not immune. 

Kristen is eager to correct any misperceptions by providing her clients with the most current “insider” information. Most importantly, she loves the ability to transform the deepest structure of the hair in a manner never seen before while providing her clients with the best possible technique.
